Effective 20 September 2026
Underwater Kingdom is a match-3 puzzle game made by Gamaliel Dorcin ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game does with information, which is very little. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell personal information.
What the game stores on your device
Your progress (levels cleared, stars, best scores), your in-game balances (bubbles, gold, gems, boosters), your settings (sound, music, haptics) and the record of one-time offers you have claimed are saved on your device only. They stay on the device and are removed when you delete the game.
The game does not read your contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera.
Purchases
In-app purchases are made through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see your card details. To confirm a purchase and restore it on a new device, the game uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt and an anonymous identifier generated for your install, along with basic device information such as the platform and app version. RevenueCat’s handling of this data is described in its privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
You can restore purchases at any time from Settings. Restoring re-grants one-time purchases such as the Reef Starter Pack and the Explorer’s Pass.
Analytics
To learn whether levels are fair and where players get stuck, the game may record gameplay events: a level started, won or lost, a booster used, a purchase made, a daily chest claimed. These events carry level numbers, scores and counts, not names, contact details or precise location. If analytics is enabled in a release, the events are processed by PostHog under its privacy policy at posthog.com/privacy. The game never records what you type or your device’s contacts.
Notifications
With your permission, the game can show two local reminders: when your bubbles are full and when the daily chest is ready. These are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to a server. You can turn them off in your device’s notification settings at any time.
Advertising
The game shows ads served by Google AdMob: rewarded ads you choose to watch for a bonus, an occasional ad when you open the game, and an ad after a lost level now and then. To serve and measure them, Google receives your device’s advertising identifier, basic device information such as the model, system version and language, an approximate location derived from your network address, and which ads were shown and tapped. Google’s handling of this data is described in its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
On iOS the game asks once, through Apple’s tracking prompt, whether Google may use the advertising identifier to personalise ads across apps. If you decline, or ask the game not to track, ads still play but are not personalised, and every feature works the same. Where the law requires it, a consent form lets you choose how your data is used for ads before any is shown. Any purchase in the game removes the ads you did not ask for; rewarded ads stay available as a choice.
Children
The game is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Purchases require the App Store account holder’s authorisation through Apple.
Your rights
Because the game keeps your data on your device, you control it directly: deleting the game deletes it. If you are in a region with data-protection rights (for example the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California) and want to ask about, access or delete anything a service provider holds on our behalf, write to us and we will act on the request.
Changes
When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it and the new version ships in the game. Continued use after a change means the new version applies.
